New in...

Both girls have been sick for a few days. I suppose it's the "new" daycare viruses that hit us. They haven't been so bad just a cold and some fever but now they are extremely energized and ready to play with others again. I don't understand how children can be so full of energy even though they are sick. Both of them need to have very high fever if it's gonna affect them alot and be noticeable in how active they are. My parents say I was the same way as a child. Anyway, tomorrow they are both going and celebrate " The Preschools Day".

Today me, mom and Natalie had a few hours lonely time when we went shopping in Karlshamn. The girls needed pants and socks. I don't know how we can go through so many leggins and socks, the only explanation must be that they grow as weed and the laudry machine eats all our socks...Well, we found some  other small things to, but since clothes are much more expensive here I don't really want to spend so much money on just basic clothes right now. I mean even the exactly same clothes at H&M for example are listed cheaper already to start with and I also get many more offers for deals and discounts from HM in USA than here in Sweden. They usually start their spring/summer sale alot earlier too because there are so many states in the country that have had warm weather for a long time... So all the stores (chains and good brands) I usually shop at will be having season-sale soon! (or more likely right now...) It has been so good and money saving  to have mother-in-law Rhonda in the USA! I can say that she has shipped over a bunch of clothes that I've ordered each season since Natalie was born! When the clothes are marked as gifts when they are shipped to Sweden you dont need to pay any extra custom fees or sales tax ( usually 25 % ) on the items value. But there's a limit to how much the gift can be worth in each package. I will definately start to shop online for more summer clothes as soon as the big sales starts so we'll have the summer closets ready when we get over to the hot, hot weather. Natalie got so excited last summer when we arrived to Missouri and she had several packages of clothes to try on! Hehe...that'd be something for the Mamas to wish for each vacation....just have a new closet delivered to the hotel room before arrival...(what a luxury!).

Here are some small pieces from today...an addativ of colors to the regular blue/whites.

Gear up...

It's time for a new season, so we better be prepared for some wind and rain... Here I found some good deals from Colombia, Marmot and Trespass! I ordered a new rainset (Marmot) for me and the rest for the girls. They had a lot more...but I guess I order a new Haglöf's jacket another day...

Harvest fest and shopping in Billings...

Saturday we drove to Billigs for some shopping to the girls and a visit to a Harvest Festival downtown. It was pretty nice and some fun things to look at for the girls. There were some locally grown veggies, pumpkins apples and also some crafts and foodstands. The food area had a little New Orleans smell and mood..( or at least how I imagine MardiGras...) with good bbq chicken and cajun cuisine among the streetfoods.. we ate Carribean chicken. Tasty!

As always in places like festivals its interesting to study people and their styles. I can say that the
' cool' girls in Billings ( age students and up) were wearing bling bling jeans with some kind of kneeboots leather or suede and were really maked up and curled their hair..since it was saturday
I assume that they were all going out later... I felt little unfixed with just mascara on..but didn't plan to go anywhere else than an afternoon harvest fest for kids...hihi..

Anyway, we also bought some presents for Natalie at the rimrock mall.
It's a good shoppingcenter!
They have a playarea for children so one parent can sit there and let the kids play.
For kids clothes you have children's place, gap, gymboree, crazy 8 and a big store, scheels, for all sports and outdoors.I hope I get to go there and just look for myself oneday, but that usually doesn't happen with the kids..there are a whole lot for me to buy so maybe next time...

I bought some clothes for Natalie at
Place and gap kids and a winterjacket with pants for jamie.
It seems like there are 4 major quality brands that people buy to their kids in this area, the north face, colombia,
Spyder and canadian jupa.
All 4 are supposed to be really good, and parents here are used to real winters so they know what keeps you warm anddry.
We picked colombia to our little wild girl.
I like that they have adjustable size so you get 2 sizes in one.
She got gloves from jupa because they were easiest to put on and fit her best..hopefully she'll stay dry and warm over the winter...

Spyder have really cool gear, and
I think we wil try them for
Natalie, but this time she refused to try anything on....

Spyder will make all clothes for the us olympic ski team to next winter games. so that's gonna make them extremely popular...and the reputation i already very good overhere.

Sorry for the weird looking text..don't know what happened to make the lines go crazy..
